10 years of accident free operation and awarded the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority's 2000 Aviation Safety Award.

The first helicopter operator in New Zealand to be certified under the new Civil Aviation rules April 1997 that set tough new standards for the industry. Skywork complies with all CAA regulations and was the first company certified under the new rules 119 and 135.

Skywork Helicopters are Part 133 CAA approved operator with human sling, winching and rappelling privileges including, one of only two companies in New Zealand who hold an exemption to operate over or adjacent to a congested area of a city, town, or settlement under Civil Aviation Rules part 133.69.

Skywork has been the principal aerial operator for Carter Holt Harvey Forests for the past 8 years.

Key supplier contract with the Department of Conservation Northland.

Established provider of tactical fire support services to New Zealand rural and urban fire services, Department of Conservation managed national parks and forestry organisations.

Skywork has developed its company profile around compliance and currently operates quality and environmental systems that are industry best practice.

Developed systems to comply with the toughest air quality plan in NZ (i.e the Northland Regional Air Quality Plan) that has become the benchmark for the other regional councils.
